Before reporting on the TTI or interviewing survivors, we recommend familiarizing yourself with best practices for trauma-informed reporting. Many survivors have been hurt by intrusive, retraumatizing, and exploitative journalism. The Dart Center Style Guide for Trauma-Informed Journalism is an excellent resource.
