These reports come from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Child Care Services, which licenses residential programs and shelters for children and posts every monitoring visit and substantiated complaint at its residential locator. Oklahoma shows only the last 36 months at a time; visits that age out of the state’s window stay here. The state publishes only substantiated complaints, and complaints that rise to the level of abuse or neglect go to Child Welfare Services and are not published, so a program with no complaints listed may still have had them.
