The Colorado child abuse hotline received 1,154 calls from youth treatment centers in the past five years, with 92% of the calls being screened out by county child welfare officials. The calls reported various issues, including injuries, sexual allegations, and children running away. An investigation into one of the centers, Tennyson Center, revealed a youth counselor was charged with sexual assault of a child.
