RFK Jr. wants to treat addiction on wellness farms, without medication

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has proposed a national system of 'wellness farms' to treat addiction, citing San Patrignano in Italy as a model. Critics argue that the approach, which rejects the use of scientifically-proven medications, is dangerous and could lead to more fatalities. San Patrignano's leaders have expressed confusion and frustration over Kennedy's interest in their program, which has been marred by past scandals and controversies.
