Report reveals alleged abuses, lack of hygiene, insufficient care at Lebanon's only juvenile detention center

A National Human Rights Commission inspection of the Warwar Rehabilitation Center for Juveniles identified isolation cells, physical violence, inadequate hygiene, lack of water, sanitation deficiencies, and absence of medical personnel. The commission called for immediate cessation of disciplinary isolation, an independent investigation, and provision of medical and sanitation services.
