Mulimauga Tuiloma, a former staff member at Provo Canyon School, pleaded guilty to physically assaulting a student in September 2024. Surveillance footage captured the incident, and the student required hospital treatment. Tuiloma was initially sentenced to one year in jail, but the court suspended the sentence. He will serve two months of probation and complete an anger management course. Provo Canyon School has faced repeated public scrutiny due to past allegations of abuse, including a high-profile campaign by Paris Hilton and other former residents.
