State orders East Co. treatment center to pay back its employees

The California Labor Commissioner's Office issued judgments ordering Sovereign Health, a teen treatment facility in Rancho San Diego, to pay several employees thousands of dollars in unpaid wages. Former employees have also filed a civil lawsuit against the facility and its CEO alleging fraud related to months of delayed or missing paychecks.
