San Diego County confronts fresh round of sex-abuse claims by former youth

Eight new plaintiffs have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse by guards while being held in San Diego County juvenile detention facilities. The allegations are similar to prior claims from former residents of the facilities. The plaintiffs allege that they were subjected to sexual abuse, including rape, while in the facilities.
