Report | Behind locked doors: Inside North Carolina’s Juvenile Detention Centers

A report by Disability Rights North Carolina found that youth in North Carolina's Juvenile Detention Centers receive varying treatment and services, with some facilities using solitary confinement and providing little to no educational services. The report highlights the need for improvement in the state's juvenile justice system to provide a safe and rehabilitative environment for youth.
